Guest Story

Jamie Plummer

Jamie Plummer had been struggling with homelessness for years before coming to Urban Alchemy’s Tiny Home Village in San Francisco. Jamie had been kicked out of other shelters and felt rejection and hostility from many of the organizations he turned to for help. However, his experience at Urban Alchemy has been different.

Jamie says that the environment at the Tiny Home Village is welcoming and supportive. He is grateful for the sense of community that he has found there. Jamie no longer feels like a problem or burden, he feels like a member of the Urban Alchemy family.

Jamie believes that Urban Alchemy has given him an opportunity to rebuild his life. He has been able to access educational opportunities and began working part-time. The support and encouragement he has received from Urban Alchemy has played a significant role in his progress.
