Guest Story

Jackie Webb

Born in Ohio and raised in NYC, Jackie had a tough journey, including being separated from his triplet brothers and spending time in prison. After struggling to reintegrate, he found his way to the ARCH in Austin. For the past 6 months, he's been turning things around with the help of our practitioners.

Jackie attends group meetings three times a week, finding them beneficial for his mental well-being and socializing with others in similar situations. He recently completed the Urban League's computer technology program and is now out daily, searching for a job that fits his new skills.

The support and positivity he gets from Mr. Roberts and everyone at the ARCH have completely turned his life around. Now, he's hopeful about the future and dreams of finding a stable job and a place to call home, thanks to Urban Alchemy and the amazing people like Kevin and Sarah who have helped him along the way.

Jackie's ultimate goal is to work for Urban Alchemy and give back to the community that helped him.
